  • 2000 – Present: Freelance Lighting Director and Technician. Lighting design, lighting direction, lighting implementation for broadcast events, network up-fronts for Discovery, Game Show Network and others, runway fashion shows, live events and galas, product launches. Experience working with clients to achieve the look of shows, lighting control programming, power distribution, DMX networking, running crews, generating light plots.

  • 2011 – 2018: Lighting Director, Major League Baseball Network, Secaucus NJ. Three time Sports Television EMMY recipient, “Best technical team, Lighting Director, MLB Tonight” Maintenance of lighting systems comprised of over 4,000 lighting fixtures. Worked closely with directors and video operators to achieve the look for daily shows and special broadcasts.

  • 2007 – Present: Touring Lighting Director for The Richard Thompson Band. Venues range from Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Fillmore Auditorium, the Beacon Theater and points between. Advancing light plots, running local crews, programming consoles.

  • 2000 – 2009: House Lighting Director at the Inter Media Art Center, Huntington New York. Stage lighting design and implementation for touring musical acts such as Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Joe Bonamassa, Stanley Clarke and hundreds others.

  • 2003 – 2006: Lead Electrician Joseph Papp Public Theater, New York City Worked with Lighting Designers to implement lighting for the plays “Well” written by and starring Lisa Kron, “This is How it Goes” by Neil LaBute and Starring Ben Stiller, Amanda Peet and Jeffrey Wright, as well as several other stage productions.

  • 1991 – 1999: Hand craftsman, building one of a kind benchmark pieces of furniture made of North American hardwood and employing traditional hand joinery techniques. Following a three year apprenticeship with a traditional craftsman, started a business which operated successfully for nine years.
